CAPABILITY

Three practices, one standard.

Technology services, advisory, and digital transformation delivered to South African public-sector entities. Each practice is led by senior people who run the work personally and who carry the accountability through to client outcome.

PRACTICE 01

Technology Services.

Managed ICT services and infrastructure delivery to public-sector entities. We act as the long-term technology partner rather than the short-term project supplier. Our model is service-level managed, instrumented, and reported monthly to client steering committees.

What we deliver

  • Managed ICT infrastructure
  • End-user support and service desk
  • Network and communications (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN)
  • Cloud managed services (Azure, AWS)
  • Cybersecurity (MDR, ISO 27001 controls)
  • Print and document services (Konica Minolta)
  • Backup, DR, and business continuity

How we deliver

ApproachService-level managed, instrumented, monthly reported
ReportingMonthly service report to client steering committee
AccountabilityManaging Director leads quarterly partnership review
PRACTICE 02

Advisory.

Senior advisory, led by the principals on the engagement. No junior pyramids, no aspirational research that lands on the client to validate. We work where the client’s technology function needs an objective view of capability, sourcing, governance, or recovery.

What we deliver

  • Digital strategy and target operating model
  • IT governance reviews (King IV, COBIT)
  • Supplier and contract rationalisation
  • ICT capability assessments
  • Programme recovery
  • Procurement and bid advisory
  • Independent review for audit committees

How we deliver

ApproachSenior delivery throughout; no junior pyramids
ReportingWeekly status during delivery; written summaries
AccountabilityManaging Director signs every deliverable
PRACTICE 03

Digital Transformation.

Implementation work, alongside the client team. We do not deliver transformation as a study; we deliver it as code, data structures, and operational change. The intention is that the client team can run what we built after we leave.

What we deliver

  • Cloud migration and modernisation
  • Data platforms and reporting modernisation
  • Low-code automation (Power Platform)
  • AI-assisted process redesign
  • Service-oriented integration (APIs, events)
  • Embedded skills transfer to client team

How we deliver

ApproachEmbedded with client team; not handover-and-leave
ReportingTwo-week sprint cadence, demo to stakeholder
AccountabilityDefined skills-transfer milestones; sustained outcome
WHAT WE DECLINE

What we don’t do.

Specialists earn more by saying no than by saying yes. The work below sits outside our three practices, and we will refer it to other firms rather than take it on.

Hardware reselling for its own sake

We sell hardware only as part of a managed service or a defined transformation. Box-shifting without a service wrapper isn’t a market we want.

Body-shopping junior engineers

We do not place named contractors at client sites under a daily-rate arrangement. Every Sgananda engagement is principal-led and outcome-priced.

Fixed-scope projects priced before discovery

We will not price a build before we have run a paid discovery. The risk of a wrong number is too high for the client and too high for us.

Work where principals don’t lead delivery

Edward Shezi signs and delivers every Sgananda engagement personally. We do not staff senior names on the cover and run delivery from a junior bench.

KONICA MINOLTA PARTNERSHIP

Authorised Collaborative Partner.

Sgananda Group is an authorised collaborative partner to Konica Minolta South Africa. The partnership gives Sgananda access to Konica Minolta engineering support, product roadmaps, and channel resources, in exchange for commitments on training, certification, and service-quality standards.
